Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy describes conduct that is prohibited when using Clutch Desk. It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Lawful use

You must use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing telemarketing, automated dialing, Do-Not-Call registries, consumer protection, and data privacy. You are responsible for the legality of your outreach.

2. Prohibited conduct

  • Contacting individuals who have registered a Do-Not-Call preference or revoked consent — see DNC Flagging.
  • Sending unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or fraudulent communications.
  • Uploading data you do not have a lawful basis to hold or contact.
  • Attempting to access another workspace's data or to bypass access controls.
  • Reverse-engineering, disrupting, or overloading the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Using the Service to build a competing product or to scrape it at scale.

3. Data responsibility

You are the controller of the lead and contact data in your workspace. You must maintain appropriate consent and honor opt-out and suppression requests. Clutch Desk provides tools to support compliance, but responsibility for lawful outreach rests with you.

4. AI features

Nova and other AI features assist with qualification, review, and routing. You must not rely on them as legal advice, and you remain responsible for decisions and communications made through the Service.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access to protect the Service, our users, or third parties. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination without refund.

6. Reporting

To report abuse or a suspected violation, contact hello@clutchdesk.app.
